This is not a very good big rig park. We were put on a grass area and became stuck. It is probably suitable for small RV's. Spaces were cramped and noisy. Very disappointed as we expected more from Thousand Trails.
Friendly people, they helped us into our site. Because it was off the Interstate a mile or so, it was very quiet. The bigger sites are wide enough for a four slide motorhome, but may not have worked in some sites. good grassy area for a pet to run around. A good stop over when heading across I-70 in Indiana.
Very friendly, good easy access to sites for big rigs. gravel sites. Seems very family oriented, surrounded by well established trees, we'd make the stop again.
The owners of this park take pride in its beauty, every time we have passed through on I-55, we find the park in pristine condition, everything works and is kept up. A bit of noise from the interstate, but other than that its a great place.
OK, so we liked it. The sites were exceptional, with good space and citrus trees separating the sites. The roads are in great shape and wide enough to maneuver into a site. We did take advantage of all the amenities, WiFi was the only weak link we found. Having a restaurant on site was a plus. Not in the best part of town, but security was exceptional.
